Medium: Mixed Media (collage, torn maps and paper, acrylic, pen and ink)
Status: Sold
This small collage piece was a layered exploration of nature’s renewal, blending abstract elements with organic forms. The central focus is a flower, symbolizing awakening and growth, while swirling blues and greens evoke water and sky, weaving in the cycle of life. I incorporated textures from mixed media—paint, paper, and cardboard and torn maps—to add depth, mimicking the complexity of the natural world. The fragmented birch trees and botanical elements remind me of the constant interplay between destruction and rebirth. the fragmented world "Awaken" and geographic references subtly ground the work, inviting viewers to contemplate their own moments of transformation and awareness.
