Medium: Mixed Media (Acrylic, torn canvas, cut paper, collage on canvas)
Status: Available
This modern abstraction features textured gestures and color, where the raw energy of expression emerges after not fully knowing where I was headed. Somehow a nude figure manifested, exposed in front of what felt like the houses of Parliament in London. So, I brought that into a fuller expression. Occasionally, when I pull this piece out of the corner of my studio, I've notice how friends have had a profound emotional response to the juxtaposition of nudity and the outdoor exposure. It's a play on spontaneity with a tactile surface that is almost sculptural, urging viewers to appreciate with a sense of touch in person. This piece offers a sincere thank you for engaging, and your willingness to explore these vulnerable lines and layers is a gift that completes the journey. Hopefully this painting, while silent, speaks a thousand words through its abstract dialogue.
