St. Mary's Church - (Nature's Wrath Series) In the heart of North Dakota, I found my muse in a tiny old black and white church photo I found online during the internet's infancy. Stoic against the elements and submerged in water, the church was rendered vulnerable on the day the dike broke. To those who may have experienced this event, I could only offer a fragment of the story. I hope it is an invitation to a contemplative space where beauty arises amidst tribulation and where we must reflect on faith inside the confines of the temple verses inside ourselves. It's a reminder of the power of faith and community that outlives the momentary triumphs of nature's fury.
